Friends and Family of Hope,
I pray
that this letter finds you in good health and enjoying the presence of the
Lord! As you have seen in previous letters, we have been asking you to pray
for Eagle Pointe Christian Community & Hope Christian Fellowship in regard
to God’s divine direction being fulfilled in a proposed merger. We thank you
so much for your prayers. We believe God has spoken to us.
After
much prayer, fasting, and conversation we are excited to announce that both
memberships voted unanimously to merge churches. We believe that we are both
in this position “for such a time as this”. We can be more effective to
reach souls in Burien together. Of course there are many details to still
work out, but we thank God for the talents and skills that He has given each
one of us to do our part in this transition.
The
first Sunday we anticipate holding service in the Eagle Pointe facility,
located at 632 SW 143rd, is Sunday July 13th at
10:30am. If you don’t attend a local congregation at this time, we
would love to see you again!
